Tereqqi party is holding regional meetings in support of working president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during elections, said party chairman Chingiz Demiroghlu.
He said the meeting had already been held in northern and southern regions of the country.
"It became clear by results of the meetings that most voters support the working president. Through five years of his term, Ilham Aliyev has gained people's trust, therefore, voters believe that he will do even more for his country through the next five years.
The meetings are proposed to be organized in all the regions of Azerbaijan and will complete by the end of the agitation campaign", said he.
It should be noted that Tereqqi party, which had previously been oppositional, decided to support Ilham Aliyev's candidacy during the presidential elections.
