Christos Folias, the Minister of Development of the Hellenic Republic is to lead a delegation to Baku on September 9, 2008 to participate in the "International Conference on Oil and Gas Potential of Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan".
Folias will deliver a speech at the conference. He will also meet with Natig Aliyev, the Minister of Industry and Energy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. He is also expected to be received by the President Ilham Aliyev.
The 1st session of the Joint Subcommittee established according to the "Memorandum of Cooperation in the fields of oil and natural gas between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Hellenic Republic" would be also held in Baku as part of this visit.
