EU Special Representative on South Caucasus Peter Semneby will be visiting Azerbaijan on July 31-August 2, says the announcement of the European Commission representative in Baku, according to Interfax-Azerbaijan.
During the visit, Peter Semneby is expected to meet the senior officials of Azerbaijan, leaders of political parties, representatives of NGOs, mass media, public and EU member-states ambassadors, accredited in the country.
The sides will discuss issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and EU, role of the country in ensuring energy security of Europe, implementation of a plan of actions in the framework of the policy of European neighborhood, presidential elections to be held in the country in October and others.
