A monitoring of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border near Mezemli village of Qazakh region of Azerbaijan was to be held today.
Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan that the monitoring was to be held on the basis of the mandate of personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office.
As is reported, Qazakh region executive powers arranged a briefing before the monitoring.
The region executive powers fully informed the field assistants of the personal representatives of the OSCE chairman-in-office about the events, occurring in the frontline area.
The field assistants, satisfied with the information, decided not to visit the contact line.
