The meeting of Serzh Sarkissyan, newly elected president and Prime Minister of Armenia, with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev may take place in the framework of NATO summit to be held in Bucharest on April 3-4.
The due announcement was made by Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan.
He said the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs are currently working in this direction. "If Azerbaijan agrees, we will use this opportunity", the Minister noted.
He also noted that the Armenian delegation at the NATO summit will be led by Sarkissyan.
It should be noted that Sarkissyan will attend the NATO summit before his official becoming a President, as the inauguration will be held on April 9 of 2008.
