Armenia must give explanations about organization of election points and holding presidential elections in Nagorno Karabakh.

The due announcement was made by Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov, commenting on the note of the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan sent to the OSCE, Council of Europe and the European Parliament.

Azimov noted that Armenia keeps a part of Azerbaijani lands under occupation and undertakes illegal steps, resulting from the fact of occupation.

He said this actions are connected with the economic, cultural, ecological, as well as political sphere.

"As you know, the lands are being economically operated as to the illegal production of gold and other resources in these lands. The damage is caused to ecological resources, while cultural and religious monuments are being ruined. Illegal activity in the political sphere is connected with Armenia's making use of Armenians, citizens of Azerbaijan in Nagorno Karabakh for political purposes.

While creating separatist structures on the occupied lands, Armenia supplies arms there and established military and political control by way of creation of armed groupings, occupied the lands, which implies the political operation", he said.

At the same time he said it is not the first time that Armenia carries out due works on the occupied lands of Azerbaijan during elections, sending ballot-boxes to the lands and conducting the so called "elections".

He said international organizations could have undertaken due steps to prevent it.

"In the past the OSCE mission rapporteurs paid attention to it.This time we decided to draw attention of the international community to the said fact and sent a note to international organizations. Our appeal to the OSCE, Council of Europe and European Parliament is based on reliable sources and information.

This fact proves that Armenia has occupied Azerbaijani lands and we call on the due international structures to pay attention to it, pointing it out in their reports and undertaking due measures", Azimov concluded.
