Azerbaijan Defense Ministry's press service told the APA divisions of Armenian Armed Forces from their positions in 1,5 km south – east of the village of Chinari of Berd region and in the occupied Tovuz region fired on the positions of Azerbaijani Armed forces by machine and submachine guns on March 5 from 21.40 to 22.30. The enemy was silenced by response fire, no casualties were reported.
