The date of Latvia-Azerbaijan Intergovernmental Commission has been changed. Latvian ambassador to Azerbaijan Mihails Popkovs told APA that the meeting has been scheduled for the second half of January, 2007.

"The agreement on cooperation between Azerbaijani and Latvian central banks will be discussed at the meeting. Besides, holding a workshop examining mortgage lending will be discussed," he said.

He said that Latvia has great experience on the mortgage lending. "Our bankers would share the experience with their Azeri counterparts with great pleasure," he underscored.
