"The migration law adopted in Russia and the government's decision concerning it would create problems for Azerbaijanis. As the Azerbaijani government worries about it, state commission was formed on President's decree," the Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Nazim Ibrahimov told journalists.

He said while visiting Russia he met with Russian Foreign Minister Grigori Karasin.

The Minister said that these steps are not against Azerbaijanis, they serve to improve the situation in the sphere of migration.

Nazim Ibrahimov said that he met with the members of Azerbaijani Diaspora and they decided to open headquarters in 7 federal districts of Russia.

These headquarters will solve the problems of the Azerbaijanis living in Russia. Nazim Ibrahimov said that an operative headquarters has also been organized in the committee led by him, APA reports.

"Our government wants the Azerbaijanis living in Russia to be registered. Of course it is impossible to finish this process by January 1 and a group of people may be removed. We are always ready to receive our citizens. But I can say that Azerbaijanis living in Russia will have no great problems after the law comes into force. The representatives of relative organizations and our committee will visit the Russian districts where Azerbaijanis live and wil have meeting with the leaders of these regions," he said.
