Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad Nazim Ibrahimov is visiting the Russian Federation.

The goal of visit is to find ways of solution of the questions deriving from the Presidential Decree "On solution of problems of the citizens of Azerbaijan engaged in trade in the territory of the Russian Federation."

On December 8, Ibrahimov has visited with deputy interior minister of Russia Gregory Karasin. In meeting, attended also by Azerbaijan's ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu, exchanged were views connected to the Resolution of the Russian Government dated November 15, 2006.

"The key goal of the Resolution is to adjust the migration process in Russia in compliance with the law," Karasin said. "The Russian side is interested to discuss and solve the problems accrued during implementation of the resolution with the relevant state and governmental bodies of Azerbaijan."

Noting that the established relations between Russia and Azerbaijan enable to solve the questions in the frame of mutual cooperation, Ibrahimov expressed confidence that the possible problems would be eliminated with the joint efforts of sides. AzerTAg
