FM of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov met with visiting Vice President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, first deputy chairman of the foreign affairs committee of Supreme Rada of Ukraine Oleg Bilorus (Ukraine).
Minister Mammadyarov said the relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine develop in all spheres, including political, economic, humanitarian. He also stressed that many Azerbaijanis live in Ukraine and make notable contributions to bilateral relations. Noting that positions of both states coincide on many questions, Mammadyarov said this mutual trust was established within GUAM and on international forums. Touching upon the “frozen conflicts” lifted at the session of the United Nations, FM of Azerbaijan stressed necessity of rising of attention of the world community to occupation by Armenia of the Azeri lands, to the problems of refugees and IDPs. The sides had exchange of views on numerous questions, including prospects of the large infrastructure projects being realized in region. AzerTAg
