Protest action took place outside of France embassy in Bucharest.

The representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish communities, students and national minorities of Turks and Tatars participated in the action.

They criticized the bill that makes it crime to deny false Armenian genocide adopted by France parliament at 12.00 by the local time.

The protestors carrying Azerbaijan and Turkey flags, called on France to respect the freedom of thinking as a principle of fundamental human rights, chant slogans such as "Leave the history to historians", "Do not restrict the freedom of speech". The protestors laid a black wreath in front of the France diplomatic mission after presenting the resolution to the Embassy.

Romania television and periodical press highlighted the event and interviewed the participants. Romania-Azerbaijani Youth and Culture Association administration informed mass media about Armenian aggression and its results, occupation of Azerbaijan territories, one million refugees and Khojali tragedy.

The action ended successfully under the observation of Bucharest police and no incident was reported, APA reports.
