Russia as OSCE Minsk Group co-chair has pro Armenian position from the first day if its activity and showed its interest to place military units in Azerbaijan, Nizami Bahmanov, the chief of Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Karabakh, head of Shusha Executive Power told at the press conference.

"Russia began to sabotage, because it could not place its military forces in Azerbaijan. Bahmanov accused Russia of not to solve the conflict and said that late President Heydar Aliyev could solve the conflict in his meeting with former Armenian president Levon Ter-Petrosyan in 1994. Levon Ter-Petrosyan was dismissed form post, because he agreed with the settlement of the conflict in stages. Robert Kocharyan who had direct participation in Khojali tragedy came to the post and it made the talks unproductive," he said.

He also stated that the number Azerbaijanis living in Nagorno Karabakh was reduced by Armenians higher officials during USSR. "The number of Azerbaijanis living in Khankendi was reduced two times. Armenians falsified the results of census in villages where Azerbaijanis were densely populated. The number of Armenians living in Nagorno Karabakh is not more than 80.000. And this is equal to the number of Azerbaijanis," Bahmanov said.

He stated about unproductive talks held by OSCE Minsk Group. "They speak about Armenian's rights instead of to focus attention on occupation fact. None of international experts monitored Shusha, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Khojali, Kerkijahan region sufficiently. It shows the inactivity of the organizations solving this conflict," he said. APA
