"All the truths will be revealed in the trial. I heard the person called Haji Mammadov only when he was arrested,”"said Azerbaijani former national security minister, ambassador to Uzbekistan Namig Abbasov.
Refuting the reports that Haji Mammadov was not exposed deliberately during Abbasov's being the minister, Mr.Abbasov said though the national security ministry received information on officers of different ministries, the Prosecutor's Office of Republic and Interior Ministry dealt with their investigation, APA reports. "National security ministry is not responsible for investigating such issues. Haji Mammadov today turned out to be a negative figure for Azerbaijan. In 1999, when we received information on Haji Mammadov we sent it to relevant Ministries," Abbasov said.
