Turkish government signed a protocol on cooperation in managing emergency situations with Azerbaijan's Emergencies Ministry and protocol on cooperation in youth and sports spheres with Youth and Sports Ministry.

The protocols were signed by Turkish Deputy Prime Minister & State Minister Mehmet Ali Shahin, Azerbaijani Emergencies Minster Kamaladdin Heydarov and Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov, APA reports.

Touching on the importance of the document, Minster Heydarov said the Ministry intends to continue cooperation with the analogical bodies of Turkey.

"We have discussed these issues with Mr.Shahin. We'll establish our relations on the basis of the already signed protocol. The ongoing developments in the world show that our cooperation will turn out efficient," Heydarov said.

Turkish State Minister Mehmet Ali Shahin said the Turkish government has signed the first mutual document on cooperation in emergencies with Azerbaijan. This document contains fields of action.

Commenting on the protocol on cooperation in youth and sports, Mr.Shahin said sports is developing in Azerbaijan.

"The protocol envisages Turkish sportsmen's visits to Azerbaijan as well as Azerbaijani sportsmen's visit to Turkey and other issues. I approve the conditions provided for development of sports in Azerbaijan," the Turkish minister underlined.

Minister Azad Rahimov said joint sports event will be organized, and the protocol will be implemented in coming years.
