The ruling Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP) will not punish its members, who individually run for the repeat local elections.
YAP deputy executive secretary Seyavush Novruzov told journalists, APA reports. Mr. Novruzov said the party members exercised their rights by nominating their candidacy individually. "This is their own choice. No action will be taken about them for that," Novruzov said. He also added more than 600 YAP members nominated their candidacy.
