Black Sea countries will convene in Romania next month within the framework of "Black Sea Partnership and Dialogue Forum," sources said on Monday.

The forum is established with the initiatives of Romania and will have its first meeting in Bucharest between June 5th and 7th. The meeting aims to establish an open dialogue among the regional countries.

Constantin Gregorie, Romania's Ambassador to Ankara said advocating a transparent and fruitful communication among the Black Sea countries will be discussed at the meeting.

Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine said they would join the forum in most higher (i.e.: presidential) level. Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria have not yet announced in which level they would join the forum.

Besides the Black Sea littoral countries, some EU members, United States, Norway and Israel, in addition to international organizations were invited to the meeting.

A joint statement is expected to be made public at the end of the forum.
