Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament (Milli Majlis) Oqtay Asadov met May 2 with Dennis Sammut, Executive Director of the London Information Network on Conflict and State Building (Links) non-profit organization.
As AzerTA reports, Oqtay Asadov spoke of the prospects of relationship with Links, saying the Parliament is satisfied with the way they are improving. He said the Milli Majlis highly appreciates the Links-initiated program to boost further cooperation between the two sides. The Azerbaijani Speaker added that both sides will benefit from the program. Dennis Sammut, in his turn, said his Organization is keen to improve ties with the Azerbaijani Parliament, noting that the two-year program will give a new impetus to enhancement of the cooperation. The sides also discussed a wide range of other topics of mutual interest, including projects to be implemented in the South Caucasus.
