An MP has proposed to establish a television channel for the Azeri parliament.

"This would provide an opportunity for the public to become more closely familiar with the work of the Milli Majlis and its members," chairman of the opposition-leaning Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, Gudrat Hasanguliyev, told a parliamentary session.

According to AssA-Irada, Parliament Speaker Ogtay Asadov did not rule out the establishment of such entity. "It may be set up in the future. We are also considering this," he said.
