A group of classical wing of Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan tried to hold unsanctioned picket opposite embassy of Iran to Azerbaijan.
The activists protested against disrespect of Afshar Suleymani, Iranian Ambassador to the second congress of World Azerbaijanis. The protesters declared the Ambassador persona non grata and demanded immediate return of the Ambassador to Iran. The action failed as the police interfered with, ANS reports. Employees of the Iranian Embassy refused to receive the resolution of the picket.
