The Minister of Emergencies Kamaladdin Heydarov ended his business visit to Turkey.
As APA reports, Mr.Heydarov met with the director of the Emergency Management Directorate under the Prime Ministry of the Republic of Turkey Hasan Ipek on the first day of the visit. Then he said that relations between the two countries were at high level and expressed his confidence that these relations would also be expanded between the organizations they represent. Mr.Ipek said that they're ready to render any assistance to the newly-established Ministry of Emergencies (ME) of Azerbaijan in formation of its structure. Then Mr.Heydarov visited the General Secretariat of the National Security Council of Turkey. Mr.Heydarov spoke about the factors which made necessary establishment of ME. "Centralized realization of operation of the Ministry established under a decree by the President Ilham Aliyev is a step taken forward". During the visit Mr.Heydarov was in the Civil Defense Headquarters and watched there practical operation of Turkish rescuers in extraordinary cases and natural disasters and was familiarized with technical equipment. On the second day of the visit Mr.Heydarov met with the Deputy PM of Turkey, State Minister Mehmet Ali Shahin. Prospects of cooperation in extraordinary cases and natural disasters between Azerbaijan and Turkey were discussed at the meeting. During his meeting Mehmet Ali Shahin Mr.Heydarov, as the president of the Taekwondo Federation, invited sportsmen of Turkey to training in Azerbaijan. At the end of the visit Mr.Heydarov also visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ankara.
