A delegation headed by Vice Speaker of the Georgian parliament, Jemal Inaishvili, arrived in Azerbaijan on Wednesday.
At the Heydar Aliyev Airport in Baku the delegation was welcomed by Valeh Aleskerov, Deputy Chairman of Milli Majlis, Zurab Gumberidze, the Georgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, and other state officials, Trend reports. The key objective of the visit is to get familiarity with the new composition of Milli Majlis. Inaishvili said that he also had excellent relations with the previous parliament. "Our relationships are on a satisfactory level," he underlined. The head of the delegation noted that under the visit he plans to hold several meetings. On his own behalf and on behalf of the people of Georgia Inaishvili expressed his gratitude to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan for assistance in prevention of the recent energy crisis in Georgia.
