Azerbaijan and Turkey refuse to issue a visa to leader of South Azerbaijan National Revival Movement (SANRM) Mahmoudali Chohraganli.

APA was informed by the head of the press service of SANRM bureau in Baku Agri Garadaghli that Chohraganli wants to be in Baku for a march to the Babek castle and that is why he applied to the Azerbaijani embassy in the US first on June 22 and then to Turkish embassy in this country.

The appeals have not been responded yet. The head of the press service stated that M.Chohraganli’s family who lived in Turkey were forced to leave the country. "Mahmoudali Chohraganli had to take his family to the US from Turkey. The leader of the SNRM is prohibited to go to Turkey now," stated the SANRM press service. Garadagli noted that Iran creates obstacles for the leader of SANRM to visit Baku asking both Azerbaijan and Turkey not to grant a visa to M.Chohraganli. However, M.Chohraganli intends paying a visit to Baku soon.

Expressing his opinion on the matter, head of the press service of Iranian embassy in our country Lutfali Azimzade called this nonsense: "All these statements are false. Iranian government is not interested in a person called Mahmoudali Chohraganli".

Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan refused to comment the issue while Azerbaijani embassy in the US stated that they are not informed about this matter.
