"Azerbaijan signed all documents, submitted for consideration by the meeting of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CISP) Council of Prime Ministers in Moscow, excluding baseless documents," Abbas Abbasov, the Azerbaijani First Deputy Prime Minister, said at a joint news conference in Moscow.
According to Abbasov, Azerbaijan joined the CIS member-countries in all economic issues. In his turn, Mikail Fradkov, the Russian Prime Minister, is sure that the CIS countries will manage to make the structure more effective, despite all pessimistic statements in regard to the fate of the organization. "We will make the CIS more effective," he underlined. The same time Fradkov acknowledged that the CIS will pass through optimization process. "We continue to work on it," he stressed. According to Felix Kulov, the Kyrgyz Prime Minister, the only task before the CIS is to integrate within the Commonwealth. He believes that they must seek increase of competitiveness of the CIS products in this regard. Trend
