"Elections were held in a very objective and peaceful form in Azerbaijan," reads statement of the members of the Georgian Central Election Commission Gizo Mchedlidze, Guram Chalagashvili and the Head of the press-service of Georgian CEC Tamara Mchedilishvili who observed the parliamentary elections held in Azerbaijan.

The CEC members saying that they observed the elections in 35 polling stations stressed that like in Georgia, some defects complicating the elections in the electoral legislation exist in Azerbaijan as well.
