The Azerbaijani State Department on Religious Establishments expressed its dissatisfaction by that the annual report of the U.S. State Department on adherence to freedom of religion in the world.

The ASDRE stated that it does not reflect real situation and is biased, inaccurate, with groundless remarks by a group of religious communities.

"Existing tolerance, friendly relations between different religions, positive experience of the government was repeatedly noted by authoritative international organizations," says the message spread by ASDRE.

Remarks by some religious communities related to illegal spreading of religious literature in the country, registration of communities, negative attitude in regard to missionary work was repeatedly commented by the State Committee.

The report gives an impression of the collection based on materials delivered in different ways.
