"Statements by the opposition regarding their intentions to establish orange tents on squares are insignificant," stated the deputy-chief of the Baku city Main Board of Police Yashar Aliyev.
"If oppositionists take this step in any place and any time other than assigned by the Baku mayor’s office, they will face serious measures," said Aliyev. He also informed that oppositionists can advance any slogan and establish tents during a peaceful action appointed in coordinated place and time: "However, if they attempt to establish tents in any other place, tents will be immediately pulled down". The YAP executive secretary Ali Ahmadov also expressed his attitude to the opposition’s calls on establishing tents in squares saying that "the idea of tents" will not turn out successfully in Azerbaijan. "Such calls and statements are outdated. Actually, the opposition does not believe to its words itself, argued YAP's secretary. APA
