The secretary of the Central Election Commission Natig Mammadov stated that the term was prolonged in accordance with the latest decree on elections issued by the head of state.
The CEC took this step due to lifting ban to the NGOs 30% of the budget of which is formed from abroad, in accordance with the decree. N.Mamamdov said that the registration of observers will last till the day of voting. APA
