President Ilham Aliyev visited the British embassy to Azerbaijan and gave condolence related to the terrible terror acts committed in London.

APA was informed from the President's Press Service. The President wrote his heartfelt words in the memory book. "I was shocked by the terrible terror act happened in London on 7 July. I gave condolence to the families and relations of innocent victims of this tragedy in deep grief. I hope that hundreds of injured people will recover soon.

The Republic of Azerbaijan condemns all kinds of terror act and will go on supporting the struggle against such bad actions. I gave condolence to the government and nation of Great Britain. We join the grief of the nation of Great Britain. This terrible attack is directed to all nations and Azerbaijani people express their solidarity with the nation of Great Britain".

Then, there was a meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and British ambassador Laurie Bristow. The head of state stressed that the relations between the two countries will further develop and strengthen. Ambassador Laurie Bristow thanked to President Ilham Aliyev for joining their grief and giving condolence.
