The national deputies made speech in yesterday's meeting of Milli Majlis (parliament) expressing their dissatisfaction of the USA ambassador Reno Harnish's meetings held with some representatives of opposition while visiting the regions recently.
Deputy Elman Mammedov accused the USA ambassador in the act of sabotage: "Reno Harnish violates the laws of Azerbaijan. Such conducts were observed in Norway ambassador in Azerbaijan Steynar Gil's activity some years ago. These persons should be disciplined. The parliament should make a statement concerning it."
Considering the national deputies' dissatisfactions to be right, the speaker Murtuz Aleskerov said that Foreign Ministry is engaged in this matter and he considered making a statement about it to be needless: "No one can carry out a revolution in Azerbaijan. We conducted the velvety revolution in 1993 when Heydar Aliyev came to power. Let the opposition be clever and ashamed of their conducts"
