As the first freefall skydiver to break the sound barrier, Felix Baumgartner became an instant international folk hero.
It was therefore only a matter of time before the daredevil's space jump stunt went viral.
Less than two days after he leaped from a capsule at 128,000ft, his historic jump has already been subjected to widespread Photoshop work.
nternet memes show Baumgartner being joined, or replaced, by various fictional characters, sportsmen and animals.
Among the amusing viral pictures are one of the animated Up character Carl Fredricksen floating past the skydiver as he prepares to jump, and another of a giraffe interrupting his moment of glory.
Others show Baumgartner plummet past Chelsea footballer John Terry and Team GB Olympic hero Tom Daley stands on the platform he leaped off as if preparing for the mother of all dives.
Footage from a camera mounted to Baumgartner's space suit shows exactly what the skydiver could see as he began to lose control of his supersonic fall at 834mph.
On Sunday, the 43-year-old Austrian became the first freefall diver to break the sound barrier. He also broke the record for the highest-ever manned balloon ascent, but the attempt could have easily been fatal as he explained afterwards.

After days of delays due to bad weather, it took the professional daredevil around two-and-a-half hours to reach 128,177ft above the New Mexico desert - and less than ten minutes to plummet down.
He landed on his feet despite moments during the descent that had silenced his mission control as he appeared to lose control and plunge into a head-over-heels spin.
