Baku will host II International Mugham Festival on March 14-21. To this end, a news conference was held today in Baku. As stated, the festival is organized by Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Azerbaijani Union of Composers.
At the news conference, Chairperson of the Azerbaijan Union of Composers, People`s Artist, Professor Firangiz Alizade, representative of UNESCO, Dr. Jean During of the Center of Scientific Investigations, Paris, Rector of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory, People`s Artist Siyavush Kerimi and others gave detailed information on the Festival.
The festival will bring mugham performers from around the world countries as USA, Turkey, China, Iran, Uzbekistan, Iraq, Jordan.
