The BulBul International Vocalists contest wrapped up November 21 at the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall named after Muslim Magomayev. The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Azerbaijan Adalat Valiyev, Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu and others.
The contest has been organized in Baku since 1997. This year it features 76 participants from 11 countries.
The winners of the 2010 contest include: Azamat Eltirguzov from Kazakhstan (Grand-Prix), Ramiz Usmanov from Uzbekistan (the first prize), Aleksey Lavrov from Russia and Enisbek Piyazov from Uzbekistan (the second prize), Jale Ismailova (Azerbaijan) and Mariya Kublashvili from Georgia (the third prize). The fourth prize was given to Konstantin Brzhinski (Russia) and Azer Rzazadeh (Azerbaijan).
