The Days of Azerbaijani culture took place in the Kingdom of Morocco. Opening the ceremony, Azeri deputy minister of Culture and Tourism Valiyev stressed the Days were organized according to a cooperation agreement signed between two countries in 2008. He also touched upon friendly and brotherly relations between the two nations.
The opening ceremony featured the performances by Azerbaijan State Orchestra of National Musical Instruments, young mugam singers, Azerbaijan State Song and Dance Ensemble. A program of Azerbaijani Days in Morocco included an exhibition “Azerbaijan” featuring 60 photos reflecting Azerbaijani culture and historical places.
