Spectacular concert program has been held at Chamber and Organ Music Hall of Azerbaijan State Philharmonic as part of the 2nd Nasimi Festival of Poetry, Arts and Spirituality.
Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva was among the guests of the event.
Marvelous event featured the performance of Tallinn Boys Choir (Estonia) and Ensemble Horizonte (Germany).
Works of famous composers Cyrillus Kreek, George Frideric Handel, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Vladimir Vavilov sounded at the concert. The evening of classical music aroused great interest among the listeners.
Tallinn Boys Choir was founded in 1988 by Lydia Rahula, artistic director and chief conductor of the choir. The conductors of the concert choir are Tomi Rahula and Kuno Kerge.
The concert choir is a classic boys' choir (SATB), where boys from 10 to 15 years old and young men over the age of 16 sing.
The choir has successfully performed in 30 foreign countries, including Japan, Thailand, China, Canada, etc,
The German Ensemble Horizonte has devoted itself since 1990, in various formations, not only, but above all, to contemporary music.
The ensemble collaborates with various theaters, with renowned guest artists and composers, with German broadcasters and various organizers in Germany and abroad. It’s home base "Klangwerkstatt Detmold" has had it's own concert series since 2007.
