Anmari, Latvian representative at the Eurovision-2012 song contest, which was held in Azerbaijan, arrived in Azerbaijan. APA reports that her visit aimed to participate in International Folklore Festival in Masalli city from September 7 to 10. She expressed her satisfaction about arriving in Azerbaijan again. The singer also said that she included Azerbaijani songs to her repertoire after the Eurovision-2012 song contest. Anmari said that she loved the Azerbaijani music very much, because of it, she sang “Sari Gelin”, “Uzuyumun gashi firuzedendir”, “Sen gelmez oldun”, “Gel ey seher” songs: “It doesn’t need to speak about my love to your country and culture. I witnessed the grandiosity of culture, history and people of your country in May. I’m happy to back this country again and I will discovery a new place. I visited several regions including Gabala in May and I admired its nature. When I have arrived in Azerbaijan for the first time I sang Azerbaijani “Sari Gelin” folk song and I want to produce clip for this grandiose music.” Anmari will produce clip “Sari Gelin” in Azerbaijan. The Latvian singer said that she intends to include the other songs into her repertoire.

Anmari arrived in Baku yesterday. The singer will go Masalli tomorrow and participate in the International Folklore Festival. Folklore groups from Russia, Turkey, Iran, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kirgizstan and Latvia will participate in the festival.

The Latvian singer repeatedly sang Azerbaijani “Sari Gelin” folk song in press conferences and programs held during the Eurovision-2012 song contest in Baku.
