In August, 2011, prices of consumer goods and services grew by 0.6% in July, foodstuffs prices cheapened 1%, non-food prices soared 0.2%, service tariffs – 0.3%.
As compared to January-August 2010, prices of service tariffs increased by 4.4%, foodstuffs – 11.7%, nonfood – 2.8%, service tariffs – 4.3%.
Remind that, annual inflation in the country made 8.7% in January-July, 2011.
Note that, IMF forecasts inflation in Azerbaijan for 2011 as 10.3%. But ADB forecasts it as 7.5%.
