Azerbaijan shows interest to “VMR3 Dual Sensor Detector” mine detectors produced by Germany’s “Vallon” company, according to the company's message.
The Azerbaijani side has already bought several VMR3 detectors for their test and experience. The detectors will be used mainly in the mine clearance operations.
The company said that the VMR3 which is considered as new generation metallic detectors, differs in several advantages from is analogs. Along with a light weight, the acoustic signal system was improved and has additional vibration opportunities.
The detector via “Cobham” radar, set to it, can determine the nonmetallic objects.
At present moment the Azerbaijani field engineers are using “Vallon” company’s VMR2 as well as the underwater mine detectors.
