German greatest railway company Deutsche Bahn concern intends to establish regularly cargo transportation connection with China, DW-WORLD radio spread information citing concern’s representative.
According to information, the railway route will pass through Poland, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and south pf Mongolia. This version is shorter than other routes in north of Mongolia.
Note that, TRACECA passes through Azerbaijan. According to national secretary of TACECA in Azerbaijan, such routes do not reduce the significance of TRACECA. Head of secretary Akif Mustafayev says the there are other railway routes between Europe and Asia and those don’t influence the TRACECA:
"On the contrary, launch of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will show the more importance of corridor through Azerbaijan. In general, launch of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway will support to reduce the railway distance between China and Europe. Besides, new sea port to be built in Alat will support this, too".
