Turkey's Meteksan Savunma Industry Inc. is interested in cooperation with some defense organizations of Azerbaijan, Ugur Oksay, simulation systems program manager of Meteksan Savunma said.
The company official said they offered a number of goods and services to Azerbaijan and the country’s navy would take notice of Meteksan's damage control simulator.
"Our company has an opportunity to create private solutions according to requirements of different organizations. Therefore we produce fire simulators, transport means and other solutions for Azerbaijan in the trimming field", said Oksay.
Meteksan attended IDEX 2011 exhibition in Abu Dhabi and attracted clients from different countries. Metaksan’s solutions are Naval Warfare Simulation, Damage Control Simulator, Tactical Simulators for Sonar & Radar, CBRN Simulation, MILES Based Live Combat Training Systems, HLA/RTI based product SIMBA for meeting the interoperability requirements of simulation systems, 3D Training Support Systems.
"We had meetings with the customers from Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Oman. We are planning to reach deals with at least two Gulf countries on our solutions by 2012. We have already started talks with one of the Far East countries", said Oksay.
