Azerbaijan will produce diesel and petrol meeting the Euro-3 standards, SOCAR Vice President for Refinery, Davud Mammadov told journalists. According to him, Azerbaijan presently produces fuel meeting Euro-2 standards.
“Euro-3 diesel will be produced from next year, Euro-3 petrol – from 2012. I consider, Euro standards are not the solution of this problem. Engine of car must meet the fuel standards to decrease the emitting of wastes into the atmosphere”.
