Azerbaijan Banks Association (ABA) with the support of the European Banking Federation (EBF) will hold a conference on the topic "Interregional bank cooperation: safe financial future'" May 27 in Baku, the ABA said.
The conference will discuss prospects for eliminating barriers interfering with international cooperation and the role of financial centres in the integration of financial and banking systems. Professor Robert A. Mundell (Columbia University professor, 1999 Nobel Laureate) will also address in the conference.
Members of the associations of banks of all European countries, associations of banks in the CIS, representatives of international organizations, and heads of state authorities are invited to the conference. After the conference, Baku will host the 30th meeting of associative members of the EBF May 28.
