Currently, rate of internet tariffs in Azerbaijan is the same with that of the Eastern Europe, Azerbaijani communication minister Ali Abbasov told reporters.
“But in September, tariffs on Internet services will be reduced again which became possible after the consultation with the country's Internet providers. Given the fact that usually rates for these services are reduced significantly up to 50 to 60 percent, I hope providers will have a similar decline once again,” the minister said. .
There are more than 30 internet providers in Azerbaijan.
