Though value of a travel in Baku Metro is 0.65 manat with the current tariff totalling 0.05 manat, the fees will not be increased.
Head of Baku Metro Tagi Ahmadov said at a press conference.
He said Baku Metro pays nearly 500,000 manat for consumed energy per month.
After they subway started work half an hour earlier at 05:30 (now at 06:00), only 80 people used it which totals 4 manat (fees in total) while energy expenses have increased 50,00 manat per month. So, the Baku Metro considers starting work earlier to be inappropriate.
