Our main priority is, of course, the continued reform of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation, aimed at ensuring its greater efficiency, said the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Mahmud Mamedkuliev.

"We believe that the organization has not yet become highly effective, therefore it is necessary to carry out reforms in the documents of the organization, and organizational issues", he said.

The Deputy Minister also stressed the importance of strengthening ties between the BSEC and the European Union.

"In particular, we believe that the EU experience in the formation, as well as on other issues could be favorable for BSEC. Two industry events - Information Technology and Emergency Management- are scheduled," said M. Mamedkuliev.

According to him, Azerbaijan is currently regulating the Working Group on Information Technology.

"The first meeting of the Ministers of Information Technology was held by October of this year", noted the deputy minister.
