Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Samir Sharifov received in Baku USAID administrator and US director on foreign assistance Henrietta Fore, said the press service for the Azerbaijani Finance Minister.
During the meeting the sides discussed deepening of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States, prospects of joint financing of projects on economic reformation. Sharifov mentioned the stable development of mutual relations between the countries.
The sides noted that the cooperation between Azerbaijan and USAID in the sphere of trade and investments, strengthening of effectiveness of state expenses, raising the competitiveness of the private sector and development of entrepreneurship will continue.
Sharifov noted that during participation in the second session of the commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United States in Washington he held useful discussions with representatives of the US government on November 17.
