The World Bank is ready to allocate $1.2 bln to Azerbaijan.

The funds will be used for withdrawal of sewerage waters from Baku to the Caspian Sea.
The project implies laying a pipe from Hovsany aeration station (Baku) to the Caspian Sea, estimated at $800 mln-1 bln. WB will take part in the project as a co-investor.
The reconstruction of the water supply and sewerage systems in Baku is estimated at $4 bln. The country's government is looking for creditors, reports rb.ru with reference to Reuters.
