Azerbaijan's Economic Development Minister Heydar Babayev received Israeli Minister of Agriculture Shalom Simkhon.
The press service for the Economic Development Ministry of Azerbaijan told Day.Az that the meeting participants discussed existing economic ties.
The sides shared views on prospects of cooperation in the sphere of agriculture. Babayev informed the visitor about measures, taken to develop agriculture in the country. He stressed importance of the fruitful use of existing potential in the development of economic ties between Azerbaijan and Israel.
He said there are good conditions for development of cooperation in the sphere of agriculture.
In turn, Simkhon highly assessed the dynamic economic development of Azerbaijan. He noted that there are good opportunities for development of ties with Azerbaijan in the sphere of plant-growing and cattle breeding.
