The general manager of the International Atomic Energy Agency on Azerbaijan will pay a visit to Baku.
The visit, scheduled for January 22, aims to examine implementation of projects on Azerbaijan, as reported by Adil Garibov, head of the Institute on Radiation Problems under the National Academy of Science.
He said the visit of the general manager is not connected with the planned commissioning of the research nuclear reactor in Azerbaijan.
"Creation of the research nuclear reactor is scheduled for 2009. The three day visit of the general manager aims to examine implementation of projects in framework of technical cooperation with IAEA", Garibov noted.
