"AzeriGas has completed provision of the customers with gas meters. The metering process has led to efficient use of natural gas. We see positive results," said Alikhan Malikov, President of AzeriGas.
But he added that there are still problems with improving the bills collection rate for gas. "Collection rate stood at 60% in April. We are anticipating further increase. I can say we are planning to each 85% collection percentage for this year," he added. He added that pre-paid card reader meters are more effective. "In this system, customers pay in advance and use natural gas according to their payment. We are working hard to intensify installation of meters of this type," he noted. APA-Economics
